I have managed research and development projects in Africa since 2011. First is Senegal, West Africa and now in Tanzania. I am the Advisor for the OSU Chapter of Engineers Without Borders. We are working on a water system for a community garden project in the village of N'jau in The Gambia. I am the Vice President and co-founding member of the non-profit AgroShrub Alliance which works to provide on-farm research, educational, and technical training on shrub-based farming to smallholder farmers across the African Sahel.
